This year, due to illness and weather, we had 4 people drop just before the tournament, so we had a total of 11 players. On Saturday I played as the ringer (with my unpainted Xirkaali), and then Scott Sallee (a big thank you to Scott!) was able to come over and play on Sunday.

Over lunch everyone set up their armies for favorite army voting and paint judging. It was kind of fun - we had three players using fluorescent paints on their armies, so turned off the lights to get some pictures of them
| All three with black lights and glowing LEDs. |

Then turned the lights back on to get normal pictures.

| Jeff Franz's Orcs |
| Matthew Temple's Forces of the Abyss |

| Scott Sallee's Basileans on Sunday |
| Felix Castro's Salamander (Felix borrowed my models (most of which were from my ambush demo set) to field Salamander, with a few new prints). |
| Kara Brown's Trident Realm |
| Paul Cravo's Empire of Dust |
Unfortunately playing typically means that I'm thinking about the game, not wandering around observing and getting pictures. As I was finishing up the third game I realized I forgot to get pictures of games 2 & 3.
In several of the pictures you can see customized line of site templates - I thought that would be fun to do for all the players (I talk about them
here ).
After some great food and drinks at
Klooz Brewz, everyone retired for the night, to show up ready for gaming Sunday morning.
As I mentioned above, Scott Sallee was able to step in a play as the ringer, freeing me up to get pictures and do other miscellaneous TO duties (such as upload pictures, tall the favorite army votes and paint judging results, and go pick up pizza for lunch).
Round 4

Once again we have several trophies to give out
| Hoosier Daddy (Champion), Best General, Jesse Cornwell Sportsman, Best Appearance |
| Favorite Army, Favorite Elemental, Dice Hate Me |
Full disclosure - in the first round game between Steve Malone and Matthew Temple, Steve was erroneously NOT given the 3 scenario points he had earned. This was not discovered until before the final round - unfortunately the Mantic Companion Tournament software will not allow you to go back and change a round after scores have been entered for any later rounds. To correct for this, I have given Steve 3 Additional points in Round 5 to make up for this.
Round 5
| Julie Weinheimer v Scott Sallee |
| Kara Brown v Paul Cravo |
| Steve Malone v Grace Patterson |
| Sam Kula v Sam Moore |
| Marshall Temple, Felix Castro |
| Jeff Franz v Matthew Temple |
And that, as they say, is that.
So, as usual, from the bottom up.
| Felix Castro - Dice Hate Me |
| Marshall Temple - Counter Charger |
| Jeff Franz - Favorite Elemental (foot of Gork) |
| Julie Weinheimer - Favorite Army (Spongebob Trident Realms) |
Matthew Temple - Best Appearance
Unfortunately Matthew Temple had to leave as soon as he finished his last game (he brought his two girls with him and had to get them back). He did ask me to take a picture of him with them (which I emailed to him). So he wasn't there to take the group picture. but I did some rough cut/paste with ms-paint magic to add him into that picture from the one with his girls. And then I again did a little work to put the award his brother held out in his hand. (His painting is much better than my photo editing skills).
| Jeff Franz - Best General |
| Felix Castro - Jesse Cornwell Sportsman |
| Sam Kula - Hoosier Daddy |
Results
It was a great time, even if the number of players was down. Of course having a tournament named after a storm it snowed on Sunday (though just lightly)
Detail results (including round pairings) are available on the tournament site at
Hoosier Storm 26 .
Because it is all fun and games . . .
