Once again armies gathered in Lebanon Ohio to determine who will wear the crown of War King for the sixth time. We returned to the 4H Annex at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
This year we had 17 people, including a couple of US Masters Champions and a US Masters Paragon. At the other end, we also had some people that had been playing for a short time, including one player that had started just over a month ago.
 |
| Steven de la Garza, Sam Moore, Sam Kula, Erich Trowbridge, Jeff Franz, Marshall Temple, Kara Brown, Matt Temple (and his 2 girls), Scott Sallee, Grace Patterson, Julie Weinheimer, Cyle with a C Pool, Steve Malone, Austin Lesh, Adam Ballard. (Shannon Shoemaker had to leave before we took the picture). |
With 17 players, that meant I had to play. When I saw the pictures of the new Xirkaali models coming out at the end of the month, they just reminded me (a lot) of my old (20 or so years) Confrontation Wolfen. So being the ringer I gave most everyone an easy win. Unfortunately it also meant that I didn't always remember to get pictures of the games going on.
