Lurking in the shadows under the cities of the other civilizations and in the bowels of their starships - biding their time before erupting out in a roiling horde of fur to take what they want.
Rats - in space! The Veer-myn are a horde army - less concerned with skill than with overwhelming their foes with bodies. They also love technology, even if it sometime blows up in their face (though more often it is about blowing up the enemy).
All of the kickstarter graphics list 228 miniatures in the core box - unfortunately this appears to be a miscalculation, as the core box only comes with 216 models (i.e. 12 short). Tunnel Runners are of type "Bike", so someone on Facebook has suggested that they calculated the number of models based on 2 TunnelRunners per base (like other bikes), not the 1 per base they ended up (which would account for the 12 model discrepancy). You do get all the bases of models specified.
Like all the EW sprues, these are lettered for each troop model type
A - Crawlers. Crawlers are the base core infantry - rats with guns.
18 bases in the box means 3 bases per sprue, with 4 models per base

B are the Maligni. I've always felt these were interesting - the where part of the original Warpath starter set (long before the kickstarter), but were just Veer-myn. Then when they made the newer plastic Veer-Myn, they still wanted these models to be usable, so they renamed them Maligni. Then in Deadzone the made a pack leader model - and this became the modern Maligni.
Anyway, there are four of them for 1 base on the sprue

C is for the Stalkers. These are the basic rats with close combat weapons (as well as their guns - because every
one rat needs a gun!)

D is the Rumbler - 20" AP3, Anti-Aircraft artillery!
This is only one of 2 models on the sprue that require assembly - and this is about as easy as it gets as it is only two parts.

E is the Tunnel Runner. As previously stated, these are bikes but come in individual bases.

F is the Tunneller. This does require assembly (there are five parts). They are a little tricky until you see where the tabs are and where they go.

F1 - drill bit |
 |
F2 - forward connector |
 |
F3 - rear hatch |
 |
F4 - starboard side

 |
F5 - port side |
I guess it doesn't matter if you start from the front or the back. I started with the rear hatch. Note the that both the front connector and rear hatch have a tooth on them. For the rear hatch, this tooth fits into the TOP of the tunneller, while the front connector's tooth fits in the BOTTOM of either side.
The drill bit fits onto the front connector. The supports have pins that fit into the front connector.
Looking at the army list, the base tunneller is a transport. However there are two Support tunnellers as well - the Saturation Tunneller and Shield Tunneller. Right now there are no parts to make these, though if you look at the sides there appears to be a space where these pieces could connect to.

A possible solution would be to scale down the upgrades from the Mantic Vault.

Veer-Myn Tunneller Missile Upgrade STL |
When a Saturation Tunneller erupts from underground, it does so amidst a thunderous barrage of toxic missiles. Woe betide anyone foolish enough to be in the vicinity when it does so.

Veer-Myn Tunneller Shield Generator Upgrade STL |
Often the first an enemy will know of the presence of a Tunneller is when a unit disappears, swallowed up by sinkhole that suddenly opens beneath them. Filled to bursting with a mass of Veer-Myn or heavy chemical weapons, these infernal machines are a constant threat.

G actually holds two units, G1 and G4 are the Command (Progenitor) models, while G2 and G3 are the Nightmares.

Then finally is the entire sprue -1/6 of what you get in the core box.
Because it is all fun and games . . .
