Gencon - or as it likes to call itself - the best four days of gaming.
Once again I was there with Mantic running games.
There was something that seemed a bit off - I don't know if it is the economy, or politics, or what it was exactly, but it just didn't quite have the feel that I've gotten in the past.
I ran Kings of War:Champions in the morning, Kings of War:Armada in the afternoon, and Dungeon Saga:Origins late in the day.
I had six of my events that were sold out, but only one of them was full all weekend. Some of that could be due to late changes and submission errors, but it was still disappointing.
I also was not good at getting pictures (and didn't have someone else snapping a lot for me :-( ).

Mantic was also running a lot of Halo - with two tournaments on Friday and Saturday (though I did overhear a couple of players saying that having two probably made them both smaller). One of the coolest things was the 405th Halo group there - spending a lot of time at the booth and game area, and then winning the cosplay contest!
Because it is all fun and games . . .
