So this is a game, not just a handful of models, terrain pieces and tokens.
Everything has it's place in the game - you can see it on the game board
Of course once the game starts it gets even more crowded as players move around, drinks get spilled, and the bartender and bouncer try to keep some semblance of order around all this yuletide cheer!
So it you notice from the above pictures, I cut the game board off, because it couldn't lay flat with the box anyway. Trim the sides a little bit, and it slips in between the open doors and the plastic tray. Now the game is all set to put away until we can play it again!
The rule book goes back underneath. The only thing is it would be a little better if the end of the box were a tuck box instead of just straight flat sides, but since everything is in a tray it should be fine.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
